Shots On Goal Props Tonight: Trust Bedard's Hot Stick

The NHL has an abundance of player and game props to get your hands on. A popular, rather simple option is shots on goal. We don't need the pucks to go in (though that's a nice bonus), we just need them to wind up their stick and hit the net.

NHL Prop #1 - Troy Terry UNDER 2.5 Shots (-150)

NHL Prop #2 - Connor Bedard OVER 2.5 Shots (-166)

NHL Prop #3 - Adrian Kempe OVER 3.5 Shots (-120)

NHL shots on goal odds: march 15

Who likes to shoot right now? With only two NHL matchups tonight, here are the guys we're leaning on to go OVER or UNDER their shots on goal prop.

Troy Terry UNDER 2.5 Shots (-150)

Terry hasn't had the best shooting track record lately, especially against the league's top contenders. In his last five outings, the 26-year-old has met Vancouver and Dallas, two of the top five offenses. In either matchup, he didn't record a single shot.

Now, his Ducks continue riding their four-game skid while visiting the Jets, who allow the sixth fewest shots in the league (29.2). It didn't bode well for Terry last time either, when he failed to get a single shot attempt in the 4-2 loss to Winnipeg in December.

Bedard is always shooting, recording 160 shots in his 52 games played this season. His job has been easier in his last couple of outings, battling against Arizona and Anaheim, two teams which allow over 30 shots per game.

Regardless, there's no denying his 17 shots in the last three matchups is nothing less than impressive.

Chicago has the chance to string together a three-game streak for the first time this season. The first-overall pick's eight points in the two wins is largely to thank for the momentum switch. Trust the hot stick.

Adrian Kempe OVER 3.5 Shots (-120)

Finishing February with 38 shots, Kempe's fierceness was interrupted by a brief upper body injury. Since returning less than a week ago, he has insisted on staying competitive. His eight shots recorded against St. Louis recently proves he's back in full form.

It shouldn't bee too difficult to continue inflating his stats versing a team that concedes nearly 34 shots per game.
