Tennis: 2015 Australian Open Betting

The semifinals are set at the 2015 Australian Open, and Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams remain the favorites on the tennis betting lines at Bovada to win the first major event of the season.

Top-seeded Djokovic will play fourth-seeded Stan Wawrinka in one of the semifinals on the men's side of the draw, with seventh-seeded Tomas Berdych taking on sixth-seeded Andy Murray in the other semifinal. Djokovic sits as the 4/7 tournament favorite at Bovada, followed by Murray at 3/1, and both Wawrinka and Berdych at 8/1.

Over in the women's draw the semifinal matchups are top-seeded Serena Williams vs. unseeded Madison Keys, and 10th-seeded Ekaterina Makarova vs. second-seeded Maria Sharapova. Williams sits as the 2/3 tournament favorite at Bovada to win the 2015 Australian Open, with Sharapova at 7/4, Keys at 10/1, and Makarova at 12/1.

Wawrinka is back at 12/1 on the odds to win the 2015 Australian Open at Bovada, with Novak Djokovic the favorite on those tennis futures at the sportsbook at 1/1. Djokovic won the Australian Open in each of 2008, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

Roger Federer is then at 5/1 on the Australian Open odds, with Andy Murray at 7/1, and Nadal at 10/1. Federer won the Australian Open in each of 2004, 2006, 2007, and 2010, with Nadal claiming that title in the 2009 season.

Kei Nishikori (12/1), Grigo Dimitrov (20/1), Juan Martin Del Potro (33/1), Milos Raonic (33/1), Tomas Berdych (40/1), and Nick Kyrgios (50/1) round out the second tier of odds to win the men's draw of the 2015 Australian Open at Bovada.

Over in the women's draw it's Serena Williams who sits as the 9/4 favorite on the odds to win the 2015 Australian Open at Bovada, with Williams having won this championship in each of 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, and 2010. Maria Sharapova, the 2008 Australian Open champion, is behind Williams at 5/1 odds.

Simona Halep is back of Sharapova at 7/1 on the 2015 Australian Open odds at the sportsbook, with Caroline Wozniacki at 9/1, and both Petr Kvitova and 2012 and 2013 Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka at 10/1. Eugenie Bouchard holds down 12/1 odds.

Cibulkova lost in the final last year to Li Na, who has retired.
