UFC Fight Night: Brown vs. Silva Odds

Fight Night action returns for UFC betting fans on May 10 as two surging welterweights clash for a chance to climb the contender ladder in one of the most talent-rich divisions in the promotion.

UFC Fight Night 40 betting odds action will be headlined by Matt Brown and Erick Silva and will also feature appearances by Constantinos Philippou and Eric Koch.

For two years Matt Brown has been a wrecking machine, going 6-0 with five KOs. He will face the highly-touted Erick Silva who is coming off a performance of the night KO win over Takenori Sato. Brown is currently handicapped surprisingly as the +170 UFC Fight Night odds underdog despite the win streak and vast improvements of late.

The price on Silva is currently -200 despite his UFC record of 4-3 over the same time period that his opponent has gone undefeated. We like the upset in this headliner and some great UFC betting options are currently being offered in the Sportsbook prop bets. Brown wins inside the distance at +220 or the OVER 1.5 rounds at -125 are just a couple of notable ones.

Constantinos Philippou is also an underdog in his fight against Lorenz Larkin. Currently a UFC odds +170 underdog at Sportsbook, Philippou will have a tough time striking against a boxer as talented as Larkin and offers little other than that in the way of offensive abilities. Larkin should be a safe bet at the -215 UFC betting lines currently being offered at Sportsbook.

Erik Koch is a heavy -325 favorite in his return to the Octagon against Daron Cruickshank, who will be taking a huge step up in competition at UFC Fight Night 40. Koch looked like his old self in his last fight and should be able walk through his opponent for a KO/TKO win. Cruickshank will need to test the chin of Koch to have a chance at paying out on the +250 option on him to win at Sportsbook.
