MLB Same-Game Parlay April 22: Brewers vs Pirates (+375)

It's a new day, which means a new MLB same-game parlay.

For Monday, we're highlighting the Brewers vs Pirates matchup, with first pitch scheduled for 6:40 p.m. ET at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

Here's my MLB same-game parlay for the contest, where I break down the three parlay legs I need to hit:

Brewers vs Pirates Same-Game Parlay: April 22

The Game: Brewers vs Pirates - 6:40 p.m. ET

BetOdds
Joe Ross OVER 1.5 Walks Allowed-210
Jared Jones OVER 4.5 Hits Allowed+105
Blake Perkins OVER 0.5 Total Bases-120
Overall+375

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Joe Ross oVER 1.5 Walks Allowed

Joe Ross has always struggled with command. He owns a career 2.9 BB/9, and after two years away from baseball, his numbers have only worsened. In three starts, he's averaging 4.9 BB/9. Ross walked five batters in his first start and then two batters last time around.

Pittsburgh ranks third in MLB with a 10.7% walk rate. I'm certain they'll have enough patience to work two free passes.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Jared Jones OVER 4.5 Hits Allowed

I'm picking on the starting pitchers today. Jones has been outstanding this season, but the Brewers are one of the luckiest clubs in baseball. Milwaukee owns a .332 BABIP, the second-highest mark in baseball. That means Brewers hitters are batting .332 when they put the ball in play.

Jones is stingy, but Milwaukee has a lineup of contact hitters and is very lucky at the moment. The OVER on Jones' hits is a good risk to take.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Blake Perkins OVER 0.5 Total Bases

Perkins is quietly cooking. The switch-hitting Brewers outfielder has 17 hits in 13 games, which adds up to a .354/.426/.542 slash line this year. Everyone in Milwaukee's lineup is succeeding, but Perkins is our man for the OVER Monday.

He's hit the OVER in four of his last five. His switch-hitting profile also isolates him from platoons. He's ready to go against all kinds of pitchers. Expect Perkins to get it done vs Jones or the Bucs bullpen.
