Jaguars Gunning for Fourth Straight Victory in Road Date with Winless Browns

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be looking to win four straight for the first time since 2007 when they travel to Cleveland to battle the winless Browns in a Week 11 matchup at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Jaguars continued their stifling defensive play with last week’s 20-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers as 5-point home chalk, while the Browns fell to 0-9 with a 38-24 loss in Detroit as 10.5-point underdogs.

Shark Bites
  • The Jaguars are 5-2 SU in their last seven games on the road against the Browns.
  • The Browns are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games.
  • The total has gone UNDER in four of the Jaguars’ last five games on the road.

The 6-3 Jaguars have held opponents to single-digit point totals on five occasions this season, and lead the NFL with just 14.9 points per game allowed. Jacksonville has also surrendered just 8.0 ppg during its 3-0 SU run, and has outscored opponents by a 57-9 total margin in two straight SU and ATS road wins. That has produced a 4-1 run for the UNDER in totals betting, but the OVER is 4-2 in the Jaguars’ past six when the total is set at less than 40.

Last week’s loss in Detroit extends the Browns’ SU losing streak to 10 games. Cleveland is also a dismal 1-12 SU in its past 13 on home turf, but has kept things close this season, losing by just three points in three of four home dates, and has surrendered just 14.5 ppg in its past two at FirstEnergy Stadium. In addition, the total has gone UNDER in 10 of the Browns’ last 12 as underdogs of 9.0 or fewer points.

The Jaguars have averaged 27.0 ppg in two straight wins over Cleveland, including a 32-28 win as 7.5-point underdogs in their last visit four years ago. But Jacksonville has been held to 20 or fewer points in four of its past five road dates with the Browns.
