NFL Week 13 Odds Shark Computer Picks - 2016 Season

One of the low-key great matchups on this week’s docket is the 6-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs the 5-6 San Diego Chargers. The OddsShark Super Computer is predicting both teams come away from this Week 13 West Coast game with even .500 records as it has forecast a 29.1-21.2 win for the Bolts.

Jameis Winston and the Bucs are in the midst of a three-game winning streak but have gone just 2-7 in their last nine games against the Chargers and a dismal 2-6 ATS against the Bolts in their last eight. Additionally, San Diego is 11-1 against the spread in its last 12 games after losing the previous game in a matchup.

The Chargers pretty much have to win out if they want to have any shot at the postseason so expect them to be a desperate team come Sunday.

Can you "dog" it? Our Computer can't

Week 12 was a rough one for underdogs and that trend is expected to continue in Week 13. The computer is predicting that just two dogs – the Jets and Bengals – win straight up this week.

New York is hosting the Colts and, to be perfectly frank, I wholeheartedly disagree with the computer’s 26.8-19 prediction for the Jets in this one. Andrew Luck is expected to be back under center for Indy and the Jets are one of the worst teams in the NFL at pressuring the QB. If the Colts remain small favorites before closing, I’ll be placing a good-size wager on Indianapolis.

Cincinnati is the only other team expected to engineer an upset and the computer is predicting the Bengals to do it by over a touchdown against the slumping Eagles. The Bengals were a small dog at the time of writing and could easily close as a favorite – this is one bet to strongly consider with the Eagles going 0-8 ATS in their last eight matchups against the Cats.

Fins up for the Fish

After their win over the 49ers, the Miami Dolphins pushed their winning streak to six and will look to win their seventh in a row for the first time since they accomplished the feat in 1985 – three years before current quarterback Ryan Tannehill was born.

Unfortunately for Miami fans, the computer is not so optimistic the Fish continue their run of success as it’s calling a 21.6-20.6 win for the Ravens when the two teams meet Sunday. There is a spin zone here, though, as Miami was a 3.5-point underdog at the time of writing. If the computer’s prediction comes true, you could still cash in on the Dolphins.

I’m pretty sad the Browns are off this week as I was getting into a great rhythm of poking fun at their misery. The Factory of Sadness will shut down until Week 14 but expect production to ramp up to full capacity when the Browns take on the Bengals next Sunday.
