Anytime Goal Scorer Picks Tonight: Sharks Perfect Tonic For Sid's Goalless Streak

NHL anytime goal picks are a great way to make some money. You'll find great odds on even some of the best goal-scorers in the league. They're some of my favorite NHL props to bet on through the season.

Here are three NHL anytime goal scorer picks for tonight; March 14, 2024.

NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks Tonight: March 14, 2024

Charlie McAvoy (+475)
The Game: Boston Bruins vs Montreal Canadiens, 7 PM ET

I get it. Taking McAvoy at +475 is a hell of a risky bet. Again, I get it. But look, Habs goalie Sam Montembeault is weak (relative to other goalies) when it comes to shots from the point. He's allowed six goals from the very high slot which is below NHL average.

McAvoy's long-range shots, goals and shooting percentage are no lower than the 84th percentile in the league. To me, that spells "goal potential".

Sidney Crosby (+145)
The Game: San Jose Sharks vs Pittsburgh Penguins, 7 PM ET

Something's up with Crosby. We know he's kind of upset that the team traded away Jake Guentzel and signaled Pittsburgh won't be competing for the Cup (for only the second time in Sid's career). But going nine games without a goal is unlike him.

Thankfully, the Pens welcome the Sharks to PPG Paints Arena. The perfect tonic for Sid's woes. San Jose has the worst defensive record in the league with 253 goals allowed. Now add how bad they've been of late with 4.6 goals against in their last 10 games.

Jack Eichel (+140)
The Game: Vegas Golden Knights vs Calgary Flames, 9 PM ET

Eichel is heating up with six points in his last two games including an OT winner against the Seattle Kraken just two days ago. Jack might only have a single goal in his six games, but he's got 26 shots on net. He's doing what he needs to do to score.

Thankfully (for him), the Flames have been dreadful defensively of late allowing 25 goals on 161 shots in their last five games. That's a 0.845SV% in case you were wondering.

I like this game for Eichel to score against a team that can't stop a beach ball.
