NHL Prop #2 - New York Islanders vs Chicago Blackhawks - Team Scoring First Wins Game (-200)

NHL Prop #3 - Brandon Montour To Record 1 Or More Points (-110)

NHL Prop Bets & Picks: friday, January 19

Only a few NHL matchups tonight, here are the best prop bets we've found.

alex deBrincat OVER 2.5 Shots (+110)

Totaling 129 shots across this season, the second-most on the Red Wings, DeBrincat hasn't recorded a single shot in Detroit's last two outings. In his seventh season, the 26-year-old has 58 all-time shots against Carolina, the sixth-most earned against any team. It's not like DeBrincat to stay quiet for long, he should pick it up tonight.

new york islanders vs chicago blackhawks - team scoring first wins game (-200)

In four of their last five losses, the Islanders were scored on first. Then, in three of their last four outings, the Blackhawks were the first to hit the back of the net. Both have been struggling to score as of late, New York only potting three goals in its last three and Chicago, desperately waiting for Bedard's return, earning just two goals in the same span.

So, whoever does slip one past the other's goalie first should hold onto the lead in this lackluster meeting.

Brandon Montour to record 1 or more points (-110)

It was a real stab to the chest when Panthers fans learned they'd start the season without Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour. But, both have been back since November... you just might not have noticed.

Montour was out with a shoulder injury and his nine total points make me believe it's still bothering him. I mean, this is a guy who wrapped up last year with a career-high 73 points.

However, we've seen a glimmer of hope in the 29-year-old. Florida is on a three-game skid but Montour has snagged two assists and 11 shots in that time. Could he finally be feeling up to his standard? All it takes is a quick pass to cash us this bet.
