Pick 1: Florida Panthers ML
When I look at this matchup on paper, both sides are equally matched in terms of recent form. Both are in the top 6 for GF% and CF% in their last 10 games. But the differentiating aspect is that the Cats have a clear goaltending edge.
Bobrovsky has been excellent of late. He holds a ridiculous 0.942SV% and 1.68GAA in his last 13 starts. His strong play has been a massive reason why Florida is 11-2SU in those 13 games.
Pick 2: OVER 5.5 goals
Both teams have been a good UNDER bet this year. For example, the UNDER has hit in eight of the Canes' last 10 games. But the books have adjusted putting tonight's line at 5.5 goals.
This year, both sides have seen a 5.5-goal line a combined five times. They hold a combined 4-1 record against the OVER.
Pick 3: Brandan Montour OVER 2.5 SOG
With 129 shots in 50 games this year, Montour is averaging 2.58 shots on goal per game. That alone is enough to hit our line. But look, I'm focused on this game because the Canes allow a lot of shots from D-men.
Per our shots-on-goal report, the Canes allow 10.8 shots on goal per game from opposing defensemen. That's the highest average in the league. No doubt Montour hits his shot prop tonight.
