"Super" Sodiq is puffed up and powerful, offering bettors a chance for a KO or submission victory in ways that Barboza doesn't provide. The Nigerian is a more compact fighter with a striking style based more on aggression and speed than finesse.
If you're betting Yusuff, I'd go with a prop on him to win either by KO or by submission. Submission is an interesting bet, as Yusuff owns one UFC submission win, while Barboza has two UFC sub losses.
Barboza also has a crack at a knockout (he won't secure a sub), but I'd rather back him as the straight-up underdog. Even at 37 years old, the Brazilian is still a sizzling striker who thrives on the element of surprise. Barboza is 2-1 in his last three fights as the underdog.
