Wildcats host Bears in Week 7 action
|Baylor Bears||Kansas State Wildcats|
Are the Baylor Bears potential BCS Cinderellas?
As ridiculous as it sounds BU has won its first four games by an average of 55 points, climbing to No. 15 in the polls.
The high-flying Bears now hit the Big 12 road for a game in Manhattan against 2-3 Kansas State Saturday afternoon (3:30 pm ET, Fox).
Baylor, which still has a tough row to hoe, with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas remaining on its schedule, was an early 20-point favorite over the Wildcats, who just lost a tough game in Stillwater in which they turned the ball over five times but still covered the spread.
The Wildcats sit at No. 33 in the current NCAAF Power Rankings here at OddsShark, while the Bears are at No. 7 on that chart. Math models have concluded that the Bears will win this game 83-39.
In their last action, Baylor was a 73-42 winner at home against West Virginia. They covered the 30-point spread as favorites, while the combined score (115) was profitable news for OVER bettors. Daniel Sams went over the 100-yard mark (118) in his team's latest effort, but Oklahoma State still defeated Kansas State by a score of 33-29.
How They Match Up:
