NHL Shots On Goal Props Tonight: MacKinnon On The Board Every Night

The NHL has an abundance of player and game props to get your hands on. A popular, rather simple option is shots on goal. We don't need the pucks to go in (though that's a nice bonus), we just need them to wind up their stick and hit the net.

NHL Prop #1 - Sam Reinhart OVER 2.5 Shots (-120)

NHL Prop #2 - Nathan MacKinnon OVER 4.5 Shots (+110)

NHL Prop #3 - Artemi Panarin UNDER 3.5 (-150)

NHL shots on goal odds: january 26

Who likes to shoot right now? With a few NHL matchups tonight, here are the guys we're leaning on to go OVER or UNDER their shots on goal prop.

sam reinhart OVER 2.5 Shots (-120)

Reinhart is on a heater scoring in four of his last five. He has sniped 15 shots in the same span and will be eager to dominate a lowly Pittsburgh group. Florida looks to finally be getting back on a good pace, snapping a four game skid and riding back-to-back wins. The Panthers have collected 10 goals in their last two and only conceded three goals.

nathan macKinnon oVER 4.5 Shots (+110)

We've seen the recent drama surrounding the Kings, where Drew Doughty was accusing some in the locker room as selfish -- yikes. Well, we can assume that animosity will show on the ice.

Meanwhile, Colorado has the best offense in the NHL with four guys registering 128 shots this season or more. Of course, Nathan MacKinnon leads his group with a whopping 221 shots and 82 points. He's recorded five or more shots in three of his last five.

artemi panarin UNDER 3.5 Shots (-150)

When it comes to stiffer defenses, Panarin has been stopped lately. When he faced the Kings, he only managed one SOG. When he visited Vegas a few nights ago, a noble three shot effort but still wouldn't be enough to cash in this line.

In fact, in his last five outings, the Bread Man has only hit four shots in his last appearance. But, that was against a non-threatening San Jose bench and the meeting when into extra time. No trends lean to a promising likelihood that Panarin will hit the OVER tonight.
