Both these groups sit in the league's bottom five for offense, so San Jose (2.10 GPG) and Anaheim (2.57 GPG) both struggle to find the back of the net.

Ottawa isn't known for being hot right after puck drop, scoring in the opening 10 minutes just twice in its last seven outings. However, both were in two recent meetings with Montreal (3.57 GAPG), which isn't very impressive. The same goes for Detroit, who has also only potted on in the opening 10 minutes twice in its last seven. So, i'll just trust these two will go back-and-forth to start the game.
