UFC on Fuel TV: Munoz vs. Weidman Odds

Middleweight contender Mark Munoz will make his Octagon return at UFC on Fuel TV on July 11 when he faces a young undefeated fighter in Chris Weidman.

In a clash of two decorated collegiate wrestlers, the Sportsbook could find themselves in a title fight against the Sportsbook of the UFC 148 bout between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen.

Despite being considered for a title shot last year Munoz now has to get past Weidman and then wait his turn for a shot at the belt. Currently Sportsbook is offering a UFC odds +120 payday on a Munoz win while Weidman comes with a Sportsbook -140 price.

With two fighters so closely matched the bout could go either way, but Sportsbook is offering a wide selection of props from which to choose. One intriguing prop offers -195 on the fight going the distance, which has lots of value in a fight between two wrestlers.

A Weidman decision win would pay +166 and looks like it’s the Sportsbook prop bet with the most value so far. He may have stopped most of his opponents in the past, but Munoz is not your average opponent. The Munoz via decision option will currently pay +211 and has some value as well.

One more prop option that calls out is the +423 on Munoz finishing the fight before the final horn. That’s a generous payday on an experienced fighter who has KOed half of the opponents he’s faced in his career.

The UFC on Fuel TV fight card will also provide MMA betting fans with four other fights: Aaron Simpson vs. Kenny Robertson, Karlos Vemola vs. Francis Carmont, T.J. Dillashaw vs. Vaughsan Lee, and James Te Huna vs. Joey Beltran.
