UFC: 2018 Underdogs Vs Favorites Record

2017 featured some of the biggest upsets in recent UFC history. We saw the likes of Rose Namajunas starching seemingly unbeatable Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 217 and Darren Elkins cementing himself as one of the greatest underdogs ever with his victory over Mirsad Bektic.

However, it was the third year in a row that the percentage of underdogs winning in the UFC decreased. The percentage of dogs winning inside the Octagon went from 38.5 in 2015 to 36.8 in 2016 to 32 in 2017. Will this trend continue or will dogs be barking once again in 2018?

After each UFC event, OddsShark will update the year-to-date underdogs vs favorites record using the closing lines for each fight, as well as the records for each event with the biggest upsets on each card. We’ll also take a look at how profitable underdogs are based on a $100 bet on every underdog on every card.
