KSI vs Logan Paul 3 Betting Odds

If you tuned in to the boxing match between KSI and Logan Paul on November 9 expecting something that resembled two drunk men settling a beef outside a pub, then you were sadly mistaken. The two YouTube sensations drastically improved their skills from their first bout, a six-round amateur match that ended in a majority draw, and looked like actual boxers in the rematch.

KSI and Logan Paul agreed to play it back as a professional bout – with no headgear and bigger gloves – that was viewed on popular streaming service DAZN and ended in a controversial split-decision win for KSI. It almost seems inevitable to get the trilogy and online sportsbook Bovada has set the line at -225 for Logan Paul and +175 for KSI.

KSI vs Logan Paul – The Rematch

After the huge success of their first amateur bout in August 2018 at Manchester Arena, the two had to have a rematch. In the first fight, Logan Paul had the edge in the early rounds but slowed in the later rounds because he gassed out. That’s when KSI capitalized and won his rounds. In the end, the judges scored it as a majority draw with two scoring it as a draw and one in favor of “The Nightmare” KSI.

The rematch came on November 9 on American soil at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The fight played out a little differently than the first exchange with KSI being the aggressor from the outset and Logan “The Maverick” Paul being more patient. KSI threw a few jabs early but then abandoned them and threw wild heavy hooks and overhand rights, similar to what he did in the first bout. Meanwhile, Paul stayed on the outside using his reach with a stiff jab while trying to keep his composure.

The fight really came down to a wild fourth round. KSI’s wild strikes were leaving him open for a stiff shot up the middle and that’s exactly what happened as Paul landed two beautiful uppercuts that dropped KSI. However, when the Brit hit the canvas and was down, the American threw one extra punch to the back of the head. KSI jumped to his feet but was clearly still wobbled. The ref scored it a knockdown, but deducted two points from Paul!

Those two points were crucial as the fight went to the judges’ scorecards, which read: 56-55 KSI, 57-54 KSI and 55-56 Paul, with KSI winning by split decision. Had the ref only deducted one point, it would have been a draw; if he had not deducted a point at all, Paul would have won on points. Although the two appeared to say this was the end in the ring, with a controversial ending like that, it begs for a trilogy fight. KSI also suggested that with Logan Paul’s wrestling credentials, he should fight CM Punk in an MMA match.
