Kevin Harvick is the favorite for the Atlanta Motor Speedway odds

Odds to win the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500: Harvick Favored to Earn First Win of the Year

After a wild start to the season with a wreck-filled Daytona 500, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. Denny Hamlin drove to victory lane last week in Florida and is +1600 to repeat this weekend. However, it is Kevin Harvick at +400 who is the favorite to grab his first checkered flag of 2019.

Sportsbook has Harvick on top of the oddsboard at +400 followed by Joey Logano and Kyle Busch at +600, and Brad Keselowski, Kyle Larson and Martin Truex Jr. at +800 to round out the top odds for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.

Standout Stats

  • Ford has won the last two races at Atlanta, following a three-race winning streak by Chevrolet.
  • The pole Sportsbook hasn’t gone on to win the race on Sunday at Atlanta since Kasey Kahne did so in 2006.
  • Kevin Harvick has led 100 or more laps in six of the last seven races at Atlanta, winning last year’s running after leading 181 of 325 laps.
  • Jimmie Johnson was the last back-to-back Sportsbook at Atlanta in 2015 and 2016.
  • Brad Keselowski has finished on the podium in each of the last two races in Atlanta, including grabbing the checkered flag in 2017. Additionally, six of his 10 career runnings at this track have ended in top-10 finishes.

My Best Bet for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500

Brad Keselowski +800

Keselowski tends to perform well on high-speed 1.5-mile tracks, including eight combined wins at Las Vegas, Chicagoland and Kentucky, each of which fits that bill. The Michigan native finished first at Atlanta two years ago and second last year and has finished inside the top 10 in 60 percent of his races there at the Monster Energy Cup level. Fords have won the last two races at this track and I think this trend continues this year.
