The soccer rumor mill is never ever quiet. The speculation on who might go where, even when the transfer period isn't open, is some of the most riveting and non-stop water cooler talk around the world.
The summer transfer window doesn’t technically open until July 1, so we’ve got a few months before anyone can actually move, but here are some players you should keep your eyes on leading up to July 1.
Top Transfer Target Odds & Rumors
Anyone can be had, for the right price of course. But here are the top names buzzing around the transfer rumor mill and where they might be off to.
Harry Kane Transfer Odds and Rumors

Kane, who just passed Wayne Rooney for second on the Premier League’s all-time goal list, is going to miss out on yet another major trophy and likely the Champions League too. That’s why a move almost seems certain now.

I get why Tottenham has the best odds here. Kane is their captain and has been devoted to the club for over a decade. But we have to remember he tried to leave two years ago. With yet another disappointing season, why would Kane stay?
That’s why I’d wager he moves North to Manchester and joins the Red Devils. If there’s one thing United needs, it’s goals. Erik Ten Hag’s team is the lowest-scoring side in the top six with only 49 goals. United already approached Tottenham about a move, and they will get their man.
Jude Bellingham Transfer Odds and Rumors

Stay At Dortmund | +200 |
Manchester City | +250 |
Real Madrid | +300 |
Liverpool | +400 |
Manchester United | +1400 |
The transfer fee for Bellingham is going to be absolutely ridiculous. Some rumors have the fee as high as $164 million. That’s an absurd fee to pay for a 19-year-old player.
But if any club has the pockets to make it work it’s…Paris Saint-Germain. PSG shelled out the two biggest transfer fees, ever: nearly $250 million for Neymar in 2017 and then close to $206 million for Kylian Mbappe a year later. That Mbappe fee also broke the record for a teenager.
PSG's owners have no issue dishing out big money to get unproven talent with top-end potential. You can’t get odds on Bellingham to PSG right now. But if you could, I'd easily make that bet.
Kylian Mbappe Transfer Odds and Rumors
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Manchester United | +800 |
Real Madrid | +800 |
Newcastle | +1400 |
Manchester City | +1600 |
Liverpool | +2000 |
Piggy-backing on the Bellingham to PSG rumor I just started is the potential transfer of Kylian Mbappe. The 24-year-old current Paris Saint-Germain product has been dominating the game for years now.
Since joining the Parisian side in 2017, Mbappe has scored 143 goals and provided 48 assists in 172 games played. That’s an average of 1.1 points per game. He's just stupidly good at soccer.

At the club level, Mbappe has won the French League five times, the Coupe de la Ligue twice and has been named the French Player of the Year three times. There’s nothing left for him to prove in France.
That’s why it seems like Mbappe will be a Real Madrid player next year, even if the odds don’t exactly reflect that. At +800, you can make $800 on a $100 bet if he moves from the French capital to the Spanish one. And look, according to reports, he’s already told Madrid he’s coming.
Lionel Messi Transfer Odds and Rumors
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Barcelona | +140 |
Al Hilal | +300 |
Inter Miami | +500 |
Al Nasir | +1100 |
Manchester City | +1100 |
According to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, Messi will return to Barcelona. Now, he’s not saying that with any authority. Rather, he’s hell-bent on seeing the GOAT have a proper Camp Nou send-off. The odds are on Pep’s side.
Barca are the favorites to land their former star at +140. Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal is second at +300, but Meessi’a agent and father, Jorge Messi has indicated that his son does not have an agreement to join the Saudi side.

Saudi Arabia | -200 |

USA | +600 |
Rest of World | +800 |
Argentina | +1000 |

I know Messi could make a boatload of money by joining Al Hilal, but I think the romanticism of going back to Barcelona for what would be the greatest farewell tour since Kobe Bryant is too much for Messi to deny.
It would frankly be sad if Messi didn't return.
Raphinha Transfer Odds and Rumors
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Newcastle | +300 |
Arsenal | +450 |
Tottenham | +450 |
Aston Villa | +1000 |
PSG | +1600 |
Speaking of Barcelona, one of their stars, Raphinha, is in the rumor mill with a potential move to England. Now, the Brazilian has stated that he did not give Barcelona the OK to put him in the shop window. But with a reported $100 million payday if Barca sells the forward, I don't think they can afford to keep him.
The Catalan side has been ordered by La Liga to cut costs to the tune of $223 million. If they’re going to bring back Messi, others on the higher side of the wage bill have to go.
Raphinha is making just above $126,000 a week. He could very well be sold as part of that cost-cutting.
The Brazilian is no stranger to the English Premier League. He played two seasons in the Prem with Leeds United between 2020 and 2022, scoring 17 goals and 12 assists in 65 games.
Newcastle is under new and very wealthy ownership and is enjoying its best spells since 1996-97. Those new owners are looking to make a splash with a massive signing. They’ll undoubtedly dip into those deep pockets to sign Raphina.
