Odds Shark: About Us

I’ve been referred to as “Ninja” for the most part in my, oh, 13-year-or-so career as a writer, video producer, video host, capper, analyst and content creator. There isn’t an overly-entertaining explanation for why that nickname has stuck, but it has.

Fun fact: my first ever bet was a bad beat. It was Browns at Saints in 1999. Tim Couch’s rookie season. I had Saints moneyline. Couch throws a bomb some 60 yards in the air at the end of the game and somehow Kevin Johnson is able to get his mitts on it for six. Browns win. From that moment on, I consider myself to be somewhat of an aficionado of heart-breaking betting losses. “But my capping was on point!” he says, hiding the tears.

Apart from being a die-hard fan of Tottenham Hotspur, the San Francisco 49ers and Toronto Blue Jays, you can find me on the golf course, or cooking up something delicious in the kitchen for the fam, or watching some obscure Japanese or Euro film that nobody gives a s*** about.

Andrew dreamed of working in the world of sports as a kid. He's been fortunate enough to do so since graduating from university with a degree in communications. He's previously contributed to theScore and FiredUp Network's football coverage.

Andrew's first love was football, but he also adores movies, music, and data.

Brennen is a fresh face in the sports betting world, having graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 2024. He once dreamed of being a drummer in a rock band, but working in sports isn’t a bad encore.

A die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan (for better or worse), Brennen also bleeds 49ers red and Blue Jays blue, with a soft spot for anything LeBron James does. When he’s not overanalyzing box scores or sweating bad beats, you can usually find him on the golf course or watching movies.

He loves everything media, from film and TV to music and sports, and he’s learning the ropes of the betting industry one wager at a time. 

Christopher has been writing professionally for several years, working with multiple outlets along the way. He has focused on sports betting content since the legalization of online wagering in his home state of NJ in 2018. Christopher specializes in analysis, guides, and reviews, and loves sharing his findings and knowledge with readers.

As a young girl, I used to sit in front of the TV screen with a notepad and pen trying to memorize the names and numbers of hockey players hoping to impress my dad. Fifteen years later, my passion for sports has grown up with me – the memorization just comes much easier. Depending on who you ask, I’m a majestic (or terrible) combination of a Habs, Dallas Cowboys, Notre Dame and Alouettes fan. Don’t ask me how it’s going, the Canadiens tattoo on my ankle is permanent. Non, je ne parle pas francais (thanks, Google Translate). Being from Toronto, where the CFL team is hilariously the most successful in the city, I’m a sucker for an underdog story. That explains why Rudy and Remember The Titans hits a soft spot. When I’m not watching football, I’m obviously watching hockey instead and travelling Europe supporting my boyfriend when he steps on the ice. My journalism degree and I were the first in my family to graduate from university and the marathon of chasing my sports media dreams has kept me on the move for years, I’m constantly changing places and meeting new faces. But at the end of the day, I haven’t budged from being a sports-loving gal trying to do what I’ve always wanted to do – impress my dad.
