The West Region boasts a couple of teams that could win it all and some interesting trends that second-seeded Ohio State could be the best bet. The top seed is Gonzaga, Sportsbooks of 14 straight games. But their trend in tournament games has been OVER the total (8-2 past 10 bracket matches). They face a scrappy Southern team.

New Mexico has been excellent and earned the 3 seed with its Mountain West crown. But the Lobos have struggled ATS at tournament time. Does that make Ohio State, conference champ of the nation’s toughest group in the Big Ten, the favorite? They have been hot lately and they have shown toughness at bracket time, going 13-5 SU in the tournament since 2007.
