Cyber attaks in Vegas

Ecks-Rated Tales From Vegas: Cyberattack Gets You A Lap Dance!

LAS VEGAS - What a MESS! A cyberattack crippled operations of MGM Resorts in Vegas at the Bellagio and the MGM Grand.

Hackers struck last Sunday morning, and man, what a DISASTER. Slot machines and ATM machines were dead, elevators didn't work and customers had to wait hours to check in.

If you were one of the unlucky ones, go get yourself a FREE lap dance. Where? Larry Flynt's Hustler Club here in Vegas. Gotta love the PR people at the Hustler Club because all they wanna do is "relieve" your stress.

All you have to do is present proof of an MGM reservation, and VOILA! Saw this quote from the Hustler Club’s GM. “Our hearts go out to both the employees as well as the tourists who have been affected by this devastating event. As members of the hospitality industry, we decided to do our part to help improve the guest experience during their visit to Las Vegas, which will in turn alleviate the stress of the employees.”

BRAVO! The Hustler Club is also throwing in free airport pickup, luggage storage for those experiencing check-in delays, and complimentary $1,200 platinum VIP membership.

Do not have all the details on the VIP membership, but will get back to you after doing the requisite research. That might involve a visit to the Hustler. I'll keep you all in the loop!

TICKETS TO EVERYTHING!!!

We have been skeptical in the past about throwing cash at random raffle tickets, but we have found one that might be the BEST FREAKIN' investment EVER!

The Vegas Sports Jackpot contest kicked off this week courtesy of the Las Vegas Super Bowl 58 Host Committee and United Way. It will give one fan who purchases a $100 raffle ticket a pair of tickets to every large sporting event in Southern Nevada in 2024, including Super Bowl 58, the Las Vegas Grand Prix and the National Finals Rodeo.

Just $100 bucks and you have a shot at the entire sports universe on Vegas!

  • Super Bowl Opening Night.
  • The 2024 Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix.
  • Every Raiders home game.
  • Twenty-two Golden Knights home games.
  • Every 2022 Aces home game.
  • Performance 1-4 of National Finals Rodeo.
  • Two Sessions to the NBA Summer League.
  • Every UNLV Rebels football home game.
  • Every UNLV Runnin’ Rebels basketball home game.
  • Every UNLV Lady Rebels basketball home game.
  • South Point 400 At Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
  • Pennzoil 400 NASCAR race.
  • The Las Vegas Bowl.
  • Four UFC events.

The $100 raffle tickets can be purchased at www.vegassportsjackpot.com. Buyers must be 18 years of age or older and be in the state of Nevada at the time of purchase.

Understand that most of you will NOT be in Nevada to buy a ticket, so that's where ECKS has you covered. I'll be happy to buy you the raffle ticket. Just send me the hundy. And all I'm asking in return is that you give me your tickets to the National Finals Rodeo. YEEEEEE HA BAABBBEEE!!!

LOX & BAGELS!!!

Don't worry about double digits. Grab the 49ers over the Giants on Thursday night. You probably saw the New Yorkers storm back from a 21 point deficit to beat the Cards 31-28.

SO WHAT! Arizona, according to my man Jeff Sagarin's Power Ratings at USA Today, is THE WORST team in the NFL.

The NYG are unlikely to have RB Saquon Barkley which leaves QB Daniel Jones as the teams leading rusher. UH OH!

The Niners are 2-0, both wins coming on the road, and will be SUPER PUMPED for their first home game. San Francisco has covered nine of the last 11 at home (82%), which is why we're expecting a final score that looks something like SF 31, NY 10. Maybe!

Putting my LOX on the bagel BAABBBEEE!!!
