Taking the above trends alongside some more in-depth handicapping, here are a few picks I'm focus on for today's men's college basketball games:
Stanford's Maxime Raynaud OVER 10.5 Rebounds (-149 at Sportsbook)
Max Raynaud currently ranks out as one of the best rebounders in the country, averaging 11.7 boards per game. In his last eight contests, he's gone OVER 10.5 rebounds six times (and never had fewer than 10).
Tonight, Raynaud and Stanford face a Georgia Tech squad that averages just 36.8 total rebounds per game, which ranks 84th in the nation. The Yellow Jackets have been out-rebounded in five of their last six games, including by 14 boards last time out. GA Tech will be no match for the Stanford big man.
Duke's Kon Knueppel has gone OVER 1.5 3-pointers made (-160 at Sportsbook)
Cooper Flagg is the best player on the court every game, but Knueppel is the go-to deep shooter for the Blue Devils. He's made at least two 3-pointers in 10 of his last 12 games, averaging 2.8 deep makes per contest. Against solid Clemson and UNC opponents in the last two weeks, Knueppel combined for six 3s in those two games.
Tonight, Knueppel faces a California team that allows a 36.7% 3-point percentage against, which ranks 329th in the nation. There are only 35 schools in the entire country that defend the deep shot worse.
