Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Derrick White OVER 3.5 Made 3-Pointers
Only three other players this postseason (Michael Porter Jr, Kyrie Irving, and Tyrese Maxey) have converted more 3-pointers than Derrick White, who played fewer games than all of those aforementioned names. White's 21 makes on 44 attempts (47.1 percent clip) are 12 more than any Celtics starter, with reserve Sam Hauser (O 6.5, -115) the only other player with more than 10.
White sank four or more triples in three of the four games against the Heat, all of which were victories. In fact, the only game of the series in which he didn't attempt 10 or more shots was the lone loss SU by Boston.
The Celtics will certainly rely on their outside marksmanship with no interior presence to establish as Kristaps Porzingis remains sidelined. They attempted 40 3-pointers in the series clincher in Miami, which was their second-most of the series outside of Game 1 in which they took 49.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Al Horford OVER 9.5 Points
Porzingis' absence means an extended look at the veteran Al Horford, who's now the biggest body in the rotation to contend with Evan Mobley as long as Jarrett Allen remains out with a rib injury.
Horford averaged 11.6 points, seven rebounds, and 3.4 assists across 19 appearances without Porzingis by his side in 2023-24. He only hit the OVER on 9.5 points once against the Heat, which came in Game 1 by the slimmest of margins when the 37-year-old registered 10 points in 25 minutes.
Boston went 21-2 SU during the regular season when Horford scored in the double digits, and he's going to see a larger role battling Cleveland's larger frontcourt in this series to improve his odds of reaching that mark yet again.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Evan Mobley OVER 9.5 Rebounds
There were only five instances during the season in which Mobley played without Allen at the center position, but in those games, the third-year big averaged 11 rebounds and grabbed 12 or more three different times.
You can add Game 7 against Orlando at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse into that equation, as well, since Mobley grabbed 16 rebounds in 41 minutes for his third-highest number of the entire campaign.
As long as Allen is sidelined, Mobley is essentially the only threat on the glass since no other Cavaliers player is averaging more than 5.3 per game. Boston is tops in this department for the playoffs, with Cleveland ranking near the bottom, so Mobley will need to be a factor in securing missed shots especially if the Celtics are going to be bombing away from behind the arc.
