Week 7 XFL Expert Picks

Below we break down our XFL expert picks for the seventh week of games. Use our betting odds calculator to help assist all your XFL bets and figure out how much you’d make for each game’s odds.

Current Pick Record: 6-2

DC Defenders (-10) vs Orlando Guardians

We’ve got the XFL’s best against the worst this week. The DC Defenders are the XFL’s only undefeated team through six weeks and this 10-point spread doesn’t quite reflect their dominance. Especially when DC matches up against winless Orlando.

The Defenders have won by at least 10 points in three of their six games so far. The Guardians, on the other hand, have lost half their games by 10 or more points, including two losses of 20-plus points to a Roughnecks team that lost to the Defenders. But we don’t need the transitive property to tell us that DC will blow out Orlando this week.

Houston Roughnecks vs St. Louis Battlehawks OVER 42.5 Points

We’re betting on some passing attacks for a rare XFL OVER. The Rock’s new league hasn’t been the highest-scoring football of all time, but these two teams can sling it around. St. Louis QB A.J. McCarron leads the XFL in passing touchdowns (14) and Houston’s Brandon Silvers is tied for second (11).

While these squads both have solid defenses on paper, allowing under 20 points per game, this one should turn into a shootout given the similar offensive styles. Both the Roughnecks and Battlehawks have scored over 20 points in five of their six games.

How To Bet On XFL Betting Odds:

While you can bet on spreads and point totals, one of the easiest ways to bet on XFL betting odds is through a moneyline. This moneyline bet means you simply pick which side you think will win between the favorite (signaled by a minus sign) and underdog (with a plus).

An XFL moneyline of +200 means that you would win $200 on a successful $100 wager. That’s also equivalent to fractional odds of 2/1, decimal odds of 3.00 and implied odds of 33.33 percent. A negative moneyline of -200 means that you would have to wager $200 in order to win $100 on the favorite.
