Last week, we were one leg short of hitting back-to-back NHL same-game parlays. In Flyers vs Habs, we took Philly on the ML, UNDER six goals and Konecny to get OVER 3.5 shots. The only leg that missed was the last one.
Winning back-to-back parlays is as hard as winning the Stanley Cup.
Here's a look at our results from last week as well as our overall record, but feel free to jump straight to this week's same-game parlay:

Same-Game Parlay: Colorado Avalanche vs Boston Bruins

Pastrnak O4.5 SOG | -125 |

Same Game Parlay Pick #1: Bruins ML
Since December 10 Colorado is as good at scoring goals as they are allowing them with 3.75 for and against. Meanwhile, the Boston Bruins are, yet again, elite at home. The B's hold a 13-3-3 record at TD Garden.
Since December 10, Boston has been scoring 1.17 more than they allow at home. We call that winning form.
Same-Game Parlay Pick #2: O6.5 Goals
In both teams last 10 games, they've gone 7-3 against the OVER.
As you saw in the write-up about the moneyline leg of this parlay, both of these sides love to score. They've combined for 7.75 goals per game since December 10th. That's enough of a pattern for me to wager on the OVER tonight.
Same-Game Parlay Pick #3: Pastrnak O4.5 SOG
In my anytime goal picks for today I noted that Pastrnak is averaging five shots on net per game this year. I also stated that Colorado has allowed 74 shots on net in their last two games. This seems like an easy add to this parlay.
What Is An NHL Same-Game Parlay?
A same-game parlay is a parlay bet that combines two or more wagers from the same game. You can usually combine point spreads, OVER/UNDERs, moneyline bets and sometimes prop bets.
Often, this makes the odds you're getting on the parlay slightly worse, though, as the books have to bake in an added edge when all the bets are from the same event.
How To Create Good Same-Game Parlays
The main takeaway for betting on same-game parlays is understanding the context of your bets. While most single-game bets or even standard multi-game parlays are solely reliant on you doing your research or going with your gut on isolated events, knowing how your parlay can function as a collective result is key for a same-game parlay. It's risky to bet the OVER on one team's point total while also betting on the other team to win.
