Ready for another NHL same-game parlay? We didn't win last week, but we didn't lose either. Two of the legs hit but the third leg pushed so the parlay as a whole pushed.
Here's a look at our results from last week and overall, but feel free to jump straight to this week's parlay:
Last Week's NHL Same-Game Parlay
- NY Rangers ML: Two goals in the third period gave us the win.
- UNDER 6.5: I told you the total would go under, I even called the score at 3-2. (I should have bet on that.)
- Rangers P1 ML: No one scored so, technically that bet wasn't an L?

Same-Game Parlay: Dallas Stars vs Florida Panthers
Pick | Odds |
UNDER 5.5 | -150 |
Stars +1.5 | -255 |
Tyler Seguin ATG | +230 |
Total | +330 |
Same Game Parlay Pick #1: UNDER 5.5
The total has gone OVER in seven of Dallas's last 10 games. For the Panthers, the OVER has cashed in five of their last seven home games. In the last 5 head-to-head matchups, the total has gone OVER four times.
This isn't just a trend it's a pattern.
Same-Game Parlay Pick #2: Stars +1.5
Outside of a 4-0 loss in Tampa on Monday, the Stars have been excellent on the road. Over their last 10 road games, Dallas is 8-2SU. Only one of those losses was by 2+ goals and that was against Vancouver on November 4th. So it's been a while.
The Panthers haven't been good enough at home of late (2-3SU in last) to bet them as favorites on the puckline when Dallas is this good on the road.
Same-Game Parlay Pick #3: Tyler Seguin Anytime Goal
Since 2019-2, there is no Dallas Stars player with more goals in Florida than Tyler Seguin. Seggy has four goals in four games in Sunrise. He's also been in good goal-scoring form lately with seven in his last 12 games.
What Is An NHL Same-Game Parlay?
A same-game parlay is a parlay bet that combines two or more wagers from the same game. You can usually combine point spreads, OVER/UNDERs, moneyline bets and sometimes prop bets.
Often, this makes the odds you're getting on the parlay slightly worse, though, as the books have to bake in an added edge when all the bets are from the same event.
How To Create Good Same-Game Parlays
The main takeaway for betting on same-game parlays is understanding the context of your bets. While most single-game bets or even standard multi-game parlays are solely reliant on you doing your research or going with your gut on isolated events, knowing how your parlay can function as a collective result is key for a same-game parlay. It's risky to bet the OVER on one team's point total while also betting on the other team to win.
