Oh, man. Hammer the OVER on defensemen shots props against Carolina. The Hurricanes see a league-leading 11.0 shots against per game from Blueliners. They're the only team with a double-digit average in the NHL. Colorado is close at 9.9.

The Anaheim Ducks and Tampa Bay Lightning stand out for their negative shot differential at home and away. Both sides average -4.4 shots on the road compared to at home. That's the most for all 32 teams and way below the -1.4 league average. No one likes betting the UNDER but its the right call when the Ducks or Lightning are on the road.
Utah (or Arizona) had some bad-looking numbers in 2023-24 with the sixth-lowest shots at 27.7. I don't expect that to hold in 2024-25. I love the acquisitions of defensemen Mikhail Sergachev and John Marino. They'll alleviate defensive pressure and push the puck forward onto the opposing net.
Betting the OVER on player shot props when they play Arizona won't be an automatic play in 2024-25.
