Shots On Goal Props Tonight: Kyle Connor Lights It Up Against Preds

The NHL has an abundance of player and game props to get your hands on. A popular, rather simple option is shots on goal. We don't need the pucks to go in (though that's a nice bonus), we just need them to wind up their stick and hit the net.

NHL Prop #1 - Zach Hyman OVER 3.5 Shots (+115)

NHL Prop #2 - Kyle Connor OVER 2.5 Shots (-150)

NHL Prop #3 - J.T. Miller UNDER 2.5 Shots (-135)

NHL shots on goal odds: march 13

Who likes to shoot right now? With four NHL matchups tonight, here are the guys we're leaning on to go OVER or UNDER their shots on goal prop.

Zach Hyman oVER 3.5 Shots (+115)

According to our shots on goal betting report, Edmonton's sticks are significantly more alive at Rogers Place where it averages 35.6 shots. That is nearly four whole shots more than the 31.7 attempts recorded on the road. The Oilers return from a four-game trip to play their second home game in March tonight.

Hyman is now leading Edmonton with 222 shots on the season, 16 more than McDavid. In his last six games at home, the 31-year-old has cashed the OVER on this line six times.

kyle connor OVER 2.5 Shots (-150)

Connor and his Jets met the Predators twice back in November, splitting the series 1-1. But, the winger was fierce in both competitions. In the initial meeting, the 27-year-old notched a four point night that featured a hattrick. In the two matchups, Connor has pocketed 13 total shots.

Though these divisional rivals meet a few times during the season, it is worth noting that Connor has recorded the most career shots (98) against Nashville in the 24 games he has faced them.

J.T. Miller UNDER 2.5 Shots (-135)

Two of the league's top offenses will square off on Canada's West Coast and despite leading his bench with 85 points, Miller hasn't winded up his stick much lately. Edging 44 shots in February, the 30-year-old has pocketed just eight shots as we near the mid-March mark.

The 6-foot-1 forward has cashed the OVER on this line in just one of his last four meetings, which was an overtime campaign in LA. In his two outings against the Avs this season, Miller also has yet to recorded over three shots.
