I'm targeting two bats for today's picks, with picks on Yordan Alvarez's total bases than Paul Goldschmidt's hits (or lack of).

Yordan Alvarez OVER 1.5 Total Bases (-110 at Sportsbook)
Yordan isn’t off to the hottest start in 2025, with just three hits and a .150 average on the season. But, he broke through with two hits and two RBI last night and he can start hot on Thursday.
The Astros slugger faces Twins righty Joe Ryan and has dominated this matchup before. Yordan has a career .364 average and 1.643 OPS against Ryan, with three homers in just 11 career at-bats. With one big swing, Yordan can hit this total base OVER.
Paul Goldschmidt UNDER 0.5 Hits (+180 at Sportsbook)
Goldy rakes against his old team, posting a career .900 OPS against the DBacks. But, against Merrill Kelly, specifically, he struggles. Goldschmidt has just two career hits (both singles) in 12 at-bats against Kelly, good for a .333 OPS. That's the worst OPS against today's starting pitchers among all players with at least 10 previous at-bats.
