Broncos Have Cashed Three Straight OVERs

No one was quite sure how the Trevor Siemian era was going to go, but the signal-caller has paced the Denver Broncos to a 3-0 record out of the gate. Siemian and the rest of the Broncos are preparing for a Week 4 road date with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-2).

Shark Bites
  • The Buccaneers are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games at home after a loss at home.
  • The Broncos are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against teams with losing records.
  • The total has gone OVER in 11 of the Buccaneers' last 12 games in October.

When the Broncos and Bucs get together, UNDER bettors are laughing all the way to the bank. The UNDER is 3-1 in the last four clashes between Denver and Tampa Bay. Sportsbooks in Vegas and offshore opened the Broncos in the -3 ballpark with a total of 44.5.

For some reason, the OVER has been an extremely hot bet when the Bucs play in October of the last few years. The OVER has paid out in nine of Tampa Bay’s last 11 October games.

AFC opposition has been giving Jameis Winston and company headaches lately, as Tampa is 1-6 SU in its last seven matchups versus the conference. Sunday’s tilt marks the first time the Bucs will face an AFC team in the 2016 season.

Fresh off winning a Super Bowl thanks to its stingy defense, the Broncos’ defensive unit was unquestionably tabbed as the best in the league heading into the year. Despite its vaunted D, Denver is becoming a favorite for OVER bettors. The Broncos have gone above the total in each of their opening three games.

The Bucs were flying high after a solid 31-24 triumph over division rival Atlanta in Week 1, but it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing since. Dirk Koetter’s crew was blown out against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 by a score of 40-7, and then lost a 37-32 shootout to the Los Angeles Rams last weekend. It’s early, but the Buccaneers aren’t looking like a playoff-bound team yet.
