NFL Odds: Week 7 Betting Trends

Last February, quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck teamed up on the AFC's Pro Bowl team.

But Sunday night's nationally televised game will receive a lot more hype and is the biggest game on the NFL card this weekend, as it marks the first time Manning returns to Indianapolis since being released by the Colts and signed by Denver in March 2012.

Both offensive leaders have avoided talking about one another, but it's unavoidable - the top billing for this weekend is Manning vs. Luck.

At Sportsbook, Denver is laying -7 despite having lost five in a row both straight-up and against the spread versus the Colts. Of course, those were five games when Manning was under center for Indianapolis. The Colts, meanwhile have won and covered seven straight as a home underdog and roll in on home winning streaks of 11-2 SU and 10-3 ATS.

They'll have their hands full with the league's No. 1 offense and a Broncos team that is on road winning streaks of 8-0 SU and 6-2 ATS.

In a huge division rivalry, Philadelphia is laying -3 to visiting Dallas in a battle for first place in the NFC East. Quarterback Michael Vick practiced on a limited basis Tuesday; there is still no word on his status. The Eagles have won consecutive games after a three-game slide, and come in having covered four of their last five against Dallas.

With Philly's new explosive offense, Dallas quarterback Tony Romo playing well, and the OVER on a 6-1 run when the Eagles play intradivision games, a high-scoring game wouldn't be a surprise.

Kansas City, which is keeping pace with the Broncos in the AFC West, looks to remain perfect this season at home against the Texans. It'll be a battle of defensive units, as the Texans have the league's No. 1 stop unit and Kansas City comes in with the fifth-best defense. Houston has been a cash cow before a bye week, punching the ticket 8 of 11 times.

Conversely, the Texans are mired in a 0-6 ATS skid on the road. The Chiefs are -7 in this game.
