Week 6 Monday Night Football Odds

At a combined 6-3-1 ATS on the season the Indianapolis Colts and the San Diego Chargers will meet at Qualcomm Stadium on Monday night with both teams looking to pay off on the NFL betting lines again at the sportsbooks.

The Colts lead the AFC South division standings at 4-1 SU heading into the Monday nighter, and they've managed to go 3-2 ATS through their first five games - including an impressive 34-28 win over the Seahawks as a 2.5-point home underdog last weekend.

Indianapolis QB Andrew Luck went 16 of 29 for 229 yards passing for his team in that comeback victory, with two touchdown strikes and no interceptions on the day. T.Y. Hilton had five catches for 140 yards and two scores.

The Chargers are just 2-3 SU but 3-1-1 ATS so far this season, and they're coming off a 27-17 loss to the Raiders in which they had been listed as 5.5-point road favorites at the sportsbooks.

San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers completed 35 of his 48 pass attempts for 411 yards through the air in his team's defeat against Oakland, with two TD passes to go along with his three interceptions. Keenan Allen and Danny Woodhead had the Chargers' TD receptions on the day.

Indianapolis and San Diego last met back in November 2010, with the Chargers winning 36-14 as a 3-point road underdog on the NFL odds in that contest. Overall the Colts are 4-6 SU and 3-7 ATS in their past 10 games against the Chargers, with the OVER/UNDER going 0-3-1 for totals bettors in their past four matchups.

For Monday night the Colts are pegged as 1-point road favorites at Sportsbook, with the OVER/UNDER for the game listed at 50 points. Indianapolis is 2-3 on the totals this season; San Diego is 3-2.
