It's NHL trade deadline day, but that doesn't mean we can't lock in some hockey props for tonight's slate.
Below, I'll break down a bunch of NHL betting trends for tonight's hockey contests. We've got hockey player and team trends with help from Outlier, as well as some NHL prop picks below for March 7th:

March 7th NHL Picks
Taking the above trends alongside some more in-depth handicapping, here are two picks I'm focused on for tonight's NHL games:
Blues' Robert Thomas OVER 0.5 points (-137 at Sportsbook)
Robert Thomas is on a crazy run right now. The Blues young forward has points in 11-straight games, scoring five goals and 15 points in his last 11. He's getting plenty of opportunity lately, too, playing over 20 minutes in seven of those last 11 contests.
Tonight, Thomas plays a Ducks team that's allowed 1.37 goals per game to opposing centers (eighth-most in the league).
Utah's Dylan Guenther UNDER 0.5 Assists (-185 at Sportsbook)
Guenther hasn't tallied an assist in his last five games. In two games against the Blackhawks this year, he's failed to get an apple both times, too.
You may think it's weird to fade Guenther against a bad defensive team like the Blackhawks. Chicago does let up the third most goals per game in the NHL, but they're actually pretty good against right wingers like Guenther. Despite ranking bottom-10 in goals allows to every other position, the Blackhawks are league average in production allowed to RW.
