  • The Vegas Golden Knights are just one win away from accomplishing the unthinkable. With a victory over the Winnipeg Jets in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals Sunday, the Knights will book a trip to the Stanley Cup finals in their first season. If the Knights can close this series out, they will become the first expansion team since 1968 to make it all the way to the finals.

And it is not like the Jets have not been testing Knights’ goalie with Winnipeg putting 103 shots on net during the three losses in this series.
