NFL Standings
Knowing the full standings for the NFL divisions is important for football bettors, but knowing the breakdowns within the standings is even more important like remembering to get a flu shot before flu season starts.
At Odds Shark, we want you to have it all, like Brett Favre at a lawnmower store wearing a pair of Wrangler jeans. We provide more than just NFL scores. We give you the SU (straight-up) standings as you would see on Yahoo or ESPN. We also provide crucial ATS (against the spread) standings for each team, because some teams that lose a lot also happen to cover the spread a lot. This is where you can turn a profit at the sportsbook, especially if you look at our NFL Picks page too.
We list each NFL team’s record at home and one the road, as well as the standings so you can see which NFL divisions and teams are ripe for the betting. You’ll be able to see how a team does as an underdog and favorite and their conference record. Different teams perform better in certain situations. Some good teams play exceptionally well but fail to cover the point spread against mediocre teams. Great teams blow out lesser teams making them better picks to cover spreads.
We also include totals records – how teams fare relative to the OVER/UNDER – and show you which teams are on winning or losing streaks. NFL divisions aren’t always evenly matched like a pink shirt and burgundy pants, and knowing what the standings look like before you make a football bet is a smart way to handicap your wagers each Sunday, Monday, Thursday and certain Saturday’s in December.
Besides our Standings page, Odds Shark’s Odds and NFL Scores pages are critical to your handicapping regime. Has the point spread moved since it opened on Monday? Are there injuries that are impacting the line, like the time Nate Burleson broke him arm trying to save a pizza from sliding off the passenger seat while he was in a car accident?
What about betting trends? You should also check out our Consensus page to see how the betting public is reacting. Are certain NFL divisions more heavily bet on than others? Having this information is critical when making your football bets.
