NBA Standings
The NBA standings at mainstream sports sites like Yahoo and Fox tell one story, the story of wins, losses and divisional rankings. The NBA Standings page at Odds Shark tell a different story, the story of a group of Looney Tunes characters getting Michael Jordan to help them win – Wait that’s not it. Our Standings pages do more than show you how teams rank within their division, on the road and at home. They also show each teams' against the spread (ATS) and OVER/UNDER records as well as certain splits for those situations.
There are two charts on our NBA Standings page. The ATS Standings chart is a gift, like anytime Kevin Garnett spoke to the media over his 21-year career. A team that is 60-22 on the season may actually be terrible at covering the spread. And for bettors, whether you are wagering on the NBA playoffs or a regular season game between the Lakers and the Warriors, you want to know which teams cover the spread, not just which teams win games.
A terrible team that is 20-62 might actually be 60-22 against the spread, making them a huge moneymaker for bettors. Conversely, that 60-22 team might be 41-41 ATS, meaning they are a mediocre team from a betting standpoint.
We also break down the OVER/UNDER results, along with the ATS records and standings of each team at home and on the road. Plus, you’ll be able to see how teams fare as favorites and underdogs and what current winning or losing streak each team is on.
