NFL Super Bowl Betting

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events on the planet, so that means plenty of wagers will be placed with plenty of opportunities to win. The lines will constantly move as far as which team is favored to win it all, so be sure to remain up-to-date via the above table so you're not left in the dust.

Super Bowl 2025 Best Bet: Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles were a disaster down the stretch last year, but I really like what they did this offseason.

For starters, they brought a bevy of new coaches, including DC Vic Fangio and OC Kellen Moore. Those two new coordinators alone should help get Philly back on track.

The Eagles' moves in free agency should help, too. The Saquon Barkley signing will get all the headlines, but bringing in DE Bryce Huff and depth LB Zack Baun will help elevate the defense, once again. Also, the Eagles seem to kill the NFL Draft every year, and this year's selection show didn't seem much different with headliners like Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell.

What Are NFL Conference Championship Futures?

Winning the Conference Championship punches a ticket directly to the Super Bowl, so there's clearly a lot at stake for which team emerges. Unlike betting for the winner of a specific division, bettors wager on which side they believe will prevail amongst the pack of 16 total teams.

In the case of the National Football Conference, its only provided two of the last six Super Bowl victors and three of the last 10.

NFC Championship Odds

The NFC is comprised of four divisions in the East (Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders), North (Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Chicago Bears), South (Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, and Carolina Panthers), and West (San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and Arizona Cardinals).

NFC Championship Best Bet: San Francisco 49ers

The heartache of coming up just short in the Super Bowl should theoretically inspire the 49ers to make amends for that performance and bounce back in a major way. We're only going to see bigger and better things from quarterback Brock Purdy, and the superstar core around him on both sides of the field is locked in. A 12-5 season propelled San Francisco to the postseason with multiple come-from-behind victories, but now it's time to put up or shut up on the big stage.

NFC Championship Value Bet: Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles were a disaster down the stretch last year, but I really like what they did this offseason.

  • Nine different teams won the NFC in the 2010s

In the case of the American Football Conference, its provided four of the last six Super Bowl victors and seven of the last 10.

AFC Championship Odds

The AFC is comprised of four divisions in the East (Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins), North (Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cincinnati Bengals), South (Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, and Indianapolis Colts), and West (Las Vegas Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Chargers).

AFC Championship Best Bet: Kansas City Chiefs

Dominance deserves to be rewarded, and with the Kansas City Chiefs representing the AFC in four of the last five years, it's no wonder why they continue to have the strongest odds to do so once again.

The one-two punch of quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce has withstood the test of time, and considering they're coming off what many believed to be a "down year" only for the organization to hoist the Lombardi trophy once again, betting against Kansas City seems like an accident waiting to happen.

AFC Championship Value Bet: Baltimore Ravens

Fun fact: The Baltimore Ravens love to win the Super Bowl every 12 years, having done so in 2001 and 2013 with what could be their latest falling in line with that trend. Adding Derrick Henry to the mix bolsters one of the league's most dominant running games, paired with the two-time Most Valuable Player Lamar Jackson. A disappointing showing in the AFC championship game with just 10 total points left a lot to be desired, but Baltimore's time may be coming nonetheless.

What Are NFL Division Futures?

NFL Division futures are easier to find success in as opposed to betting on a conference champion, because as opposed to picking from a crop of 16 total teams from either the AFC or NFC, you're simply wagering on one of a possible four teams to finish first amongst the group. The strength of the contenders varies from year to year, but even so, the odds are more so in your favor with a narrow field.

NFC South Betting Odds

The NFC South is comprised of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, and Carolina Panthers.

NFC South Division Best Bet: Atlanta Falcons

Signing veteran Kirk Cousins at quarterback provided instant credibility to an Atlanta Falcons squad desperate for direction. Having Michael Penix Jr. waiting in the wings provides some insurance at the position, although it remains a peculiar pick to this day. Regardless, the NFC South is undoubtedly the weakest in the entire conference, so Cousins and new head coach Raheem Morris can do a lot of good to separate the Falcons from the rest of the pack.

NFC East Betting Odds

The NFC East is comprised of the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders.

NFC East Division Best Bet: Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles fell one win short of matching the Dallas Cowboys' record atop the NFC East last season, but realistically, the crown should have been theirs after losing five of their last six games before falling in the Wild Card game to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Center Jason Kelce retired, as did six-time Pro Bowler Fletcher Cox, but the offense did get some juice in the form of running back Saquon Barkley. The team's Super Bowl aspirations remain legitimate and feasible, but the eyes of the league will be on the City of Brotherly Love for the latter half of the season to see if a similar downfall to last year is in store.

NFC North Betting Odds

The NFC North is comprised of the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings.

NFC North Division Best Bet: Detroit Lions

Seeing the Detroit Lions as NFC North champions must be surreal to long-suffering fans of the franchise, let alone watching them be betting favorites to repeat. Quarterback Jared Goff has proved to be worth every bit of his $212-million extension after completing a career-best 67.3 percent of his passes and throwing for just under 4,600 yards, and Amon Ra St. Brown also got extended through the 2028 season. This isn't as much of a layup as wagering on some of the other divisions, but getting in at plus money on Detroit is the logical bet early on.

AFC South Betting Odds

The AFC South is comprised of the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Indianapolis Colts.

AFC South Division Best Bet: Houston Texans

The Buffalo Bills' loss is the Houston Texans' gain with Stefon Diggs instantly becoming quarterback C.J. Stroud's greatest receiving threat. That's terrifying for the rest of the AFC South after Stroud put up ridiculous numbers en route to his Offensive Rookie of the Year win, including accumulating the second-most passing yards ever for a rookie QB between the regular and postseason with 4,557 yards. The early odds painting Houston at minus money are no joke, although only one win separated them and both Tennessee and Jacksonville last season.

AFC West Division Odds

The AFC West is comprised of the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers.

AFC West Division Best Bet: Kansas City Chiefs

The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs have won eight-straight division titles, and was the only team last season to finish with a winning record. There's no reason to doubt that they'll do it again in 2024, barring some sort of unforeseen injury to quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

AFC North Betting Odds

The AFC North is comprised of the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

AFC North Division Best Bet: Baltimore Ravens

A 17-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game was a demoralizing blow to the Baltimore Ravens, who still remain in the thick of it as a Super Bowl contender and certainly to reign atop the AFC North once again. Pairing Derrick Henry with MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson almost seems unfair with how prolific they are as runners, and the Ravens' top-10 defense still managed to retain key pieces this offseason despite losing the likes of Geno Stone and Jadaveon Clowney.

AFC East Division Odds

The AFC East is comprised of the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins.

AFC East Division Best Bet: Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are currently the narrow favorites over the New York Jets, who will be getting quarterback Aaron Rodgers back into the mix after a catastrophic Achilles tear early last season. Bills QB Josh Allen is still one of the best deep throwers in the game, but a few of his key weapons have departed in Gabe Davis and especially Stefon Diggs. New York is a serious threat to the Bills' four-year streak of division crowns.

  • Since 1990, only two different AFC East players have won the NFL's MVP award (Tom Brady three times, Thurman Thomas once)

What Are NFL Futures?

NFL futures are no different than betting futures for other major professional sports, because unlike wagering on a specific game the day of, you're projecting outcomes far off in the distance where you can potentially make bank.

From a football perspective, and as evident in the table above, bettors can put money down on which team will win a specific division, conference, or which side will ultimately hoist the Lombardi trophy as the winners of the Super Bowl. Winning and losing streaks, significant injuries, scheduling, and much more can ultimately impact the odds throughout the course of a season.

Our tables also provide context as to what the opening odds are in comparison to what oddsmakers are currently posting, because the numbers will constantly fluctuate, and it's up to bettors to determine the best possible time to lay down a bet to maximize profits.
