Wofford and Chattanooga separated themselves from the pack in the Southern Conference standings this past season, and those two schools are set as the favorites to win the 2015 conference tournament at online sportsbook Sportsbook.

Wofford was 25-6 overall and 16-2 in conference play this season, earning them the No. 1 seed at the Southern Conference Tournament ahead of Chattanooga - which went 22-9 overall and 15-3 against conference opponents. At Sportsbook Wofford is the -130 tournament favorite, with Chattanooga next at +325.

Mercer was 17-14 overall and 12-6 against conference opponents this past season, and as the No. 3 seed they'll take on No. 6 VMI in the quarterfinals of the tournament. No. 4 Western Carolina will meet No. 5 East Tennessee State in another quarterfinal matchup. Mercer sits at +425 on the tournament odds at Sportsbook, with ETSU at +1000, Western Carolina at +1500, and VMI at +3500.

The top two seeds, meanwhile, will find out their quarterfinal opponents on March 6, with Wofford getting the Sportsbook between No. 8 UNC Greensboro and No. 9 Samford while Chattanooga faces the Sportsbook of No. 7 The Citadel and No. 10 Furman. Those four lower seeds are all longshots on the Southern Conference Tournament odds at the sportsbook.

Davidson will be looking to take care of business against Western Carolina on Sunday as the No. 1 seed takes on the No. 5 seed in the semifinals of Southern Conference Tournament betting action.

Top-seeded Davidson defeated Western Carolina 82-77 as a 2-point road favorite on the college basketball odds in their only meeting during the regular season.

No. 7 Georgia Southern will be an underdog on the Southern Conference Tournament odds in their semifinal matchup against No. 3 Wofford on Sunday.


Top-seeded Davidson's opponent in the quarterfinals of Southern Conference Tournament betting action on Saturday will be No. 8 Samford, after they defeated Appalachian State 70-56 in the Sportsbook round on Friday night.

Davidson is 4-1 both SU and ATS in its last five games against Samford, beating them 109-88 as an 8-point road favorite in college basketball odds action when the schools last hit the hardwood together on February 6.

When Southern Conference Tournament odds action tips off on Friday it'll be Davidson as the favorite to win the tourney title at the sportsbooks. That event gets underway with three games on Friday and concludes with Monday's championship.

Davidson, the top seed in the tournament, is the +105 favorite on the Southern Conference Tournament odds at Sportsbook, and will first hit the hardwood on Saturday against the Sportsbook of Friday's matchup between Samford and Appalachian State.

No. 3 seed Wofford is then at +305 on those Sportsbook odds, with No. 5 seed Western Carolina at +650, No. 4 seed Elon at +660, and No. 2 seed Chattanooga at +1050.

Chattanooga will take on the Sportsbook of Friday's Georgia Southern vs. Furman contest on Saturday, with Wofford meeting the Sportsbook of Friday's UNC Greensboro vs. The Citadel matchup. The other Saturday quarterfinal has Elon vs. Western Carolina in Southern Conference Tournament betting action.

No. 1 Davidson advanced to the Southern Conference Tournament semifinals with an 86-59 win over No. 9 Georgia Southern on Saturday night.

Davidson will take on No. 4 Appalachian State, who advanced with a 74-60 win over No. 12 Furman. Davidson is 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS in its last three games against Appalachian State.

No. 2 Elon and No. 3 College of Charleston will meet in the other semifinal matchup on Sunday. Elon defeated No. 10 UNC Greensboro 68-61 on Friday to advance, and Charleston defeated No. 6 Western Carolina 78-70. Charleston is 4-1 SU and ATS in its last five games against Elon.

The Sportsbook of these two semifinal games will meet in the finals of Southern Conference Tournament betting on Monday night.


No. 12 Furman was the Southern Conference’s worst team this regular season, but they upset No. 5 Samford to advance to the quarterfinals in Southern Conference Tournament betting action. Furman will face No. 4 Appalachian State on Saturday.

No. 9 Georgia Southern dispatched Wofford on Friday to set up a quarterfinal matchup against No. 1 Davidson. Davidson ended the regular season with 14 straight wins.

No. 10 UNC Greensboro kept the streak of low seeds winning rolling with a win over No. 7 Chattanooga on Friday. UNC Greensboro will face No. 2 Elon on Saturday.

No. 6 Western Carolina took care of business on Friday with a win over No. 11 The Citadel. Western Carolina will duke it out with No. 3 College of Charleston on Saturday.


Davidson is going off at -245 to win the Southern Conference Tournament, and if the regular season is any indication the South Division champions should do just that.

No. 1 Davidson breezed through its conference schedule with a 17-1 SU conference record en route to a 23-7 record overall. Davidson enters the tournament on a 14-0 SU and 8-6 ATS run.

No. 3 College of Charleston could be Davidson’s biggest competition down the line at +475 odds to win the Southern Conference Tournament. Charleston finished 14-4 SU in conference play (and 22-9 SU overall) but lost both of its games against Davidson.

No. 2 Elon (+800) won the North Division to earn the No. 2 seed in the tournament with a 13-5 SU conference record and a 20-10 SU overall record. Elon, College of Charleston, and Davidson were the only teams in the Southern Conference to finish the regular season with a winning record overall.

Friday’s first round kicks off with four games, starting with No. 8 Wofford (+3000) facing No. 9 Georgia Southern (+10000). Both teams finished the regular season with identical conference and overall records, and the Sportsbook will face No. 1 Davidson in the quarterfinals.

No. 5 Samford (+6000) is expected to dispatch No. 12 Furman (+30000) Friday. Furman finished with the worst conference record (3-15 SU) and overall record (6-23) in the Southern Conference. The Sportsbook of this game advances to play No. 4 Appalachian State (+2800).
