When: Saturday May 27, 2023 12pm Eastern Time

WWE Night of Champions Titles & Important Matches:

Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles: World Heavyweight Championship

Seth “Freakin” Rollins is one of the few wrestlers who receives that crucial “pop” from the WWE universe, but a major cloud surrounding him is his lack of title success. Rollins hasn’t held a world title since 2019. Over the course of his drought, Seth has consistently shown he’s next in line to contend for the Universal Championship, but that’s only if he can claim the World Heavyweight title on Saturday.

Look for Seth Rollins to defeat Styles, setting up a captivating storyline and rivalry with the former member of “The Shield” and current face of the company, Roman Reigns.

Prediction: AND NEW! (Seth Rollins to def. AJ Styles)

Bianca Belair vs. Asuka – Raw Women’s Championship

Belair has quietly held the Raw Women’s title and hasn’t lost all year. She’s definitely a worthy champion and talented in-ring performer, however, her storylines have been incredibly bland.

Bianca needs to spice up her title reign, whether it’s a heel turn or using sneaky tactics to win on Saturday. She is simply too good to drop her belt against Asuka, but something significant must happen this weekend or else fans will lose interest in the Raw Women’s title.

Prediction: AND STILL! (Bianca Belair to def. Asuka)

Gunther vs. Mustafa Ali: Intercontinental Championship

Best of luck to Mustafa Ali.  We all hope he can have an impressive showing because this is the biggest match for him in ages. With a solid performance, it can bolster his career and opportunities within the WWE. Having said that, it would be very bold to suggest Ali could actually pick up the win.

Gunther looks like he was made for the Intercontinental title. The 6’4 machine has been clowning Ali during the buildup because Gunther knows the physical discrepancy between him and the challenger is incredibly one-sided. Look for Gunther to fling Ali away like a bug and show the WWE universe that this Intercontinental belt isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Prediction: AND STILL! (Gunther to def. Mustafa Ali)

Rhea Ripley vs. Natalya – Smackdown Women’s Championship

Natayla recently addressed on Twitter how she’s never been taken seriously by the WWE in a very heartfelt and emotional video.

Unfortunately for Natayla, it’s just a little too late for her to make an impact. The former two-time women’s champion can’t win this belt because it will put WWE at a dead end with the women’s division. We can only hope Natayla receives a warm ovation from the crowd and that fans see an entertaining match.

Prediction: AND STILL! (Rhea Ripley to def. Natalya)

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar

Although a belt is not up for grabs, the result of Lesnar vs. Rhodes will have a lasting impact on the direction of WWE. Brock Lesnar has been giving Cody Rhodes the business on Monday Night Raw, with plenty of brutal assaults on Cody during the weeks leading up to Night of Champions.

Don’t forget, a month ago, The American Nightmare was -300 to claim the world titles at Wrestle Mania 39, but Roman Reigns once again proved why he’s the greatest wrestler in the world, cashing as a +240-underdog and ultimately keeping his streak of consecutive days with both championship belts alive.

Prediction: Cody Rhodes to def. Brock Lesnar

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa: Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

It’s safe to say Roman Reigns has lost all patience with his cousins Jimmy and Jay Uso.

Since the Uso’s dropped their tag team belts to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at Wrestle Mania, there has been enormous tension between “The Bloodline”.

Roman Reigns lives by the motto, “if you want something done right, just do it yourself.” The Tribal Chief will do just that and secure creditably back into the family name.

Prediction: AND NEW! (Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa to def. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn)
