Cam Smith is favored in the LIV Andalucia Odds

2023 LIV Andalucia Odds: Cam Smith Tops The Oddsboard

LIV Golf returns for the first time in over a month as the eighth event of the season travels to Real Club Valderrama in Sotogrande, Spain. A staple on the DP World Tour for the last handful of decades, this par 71 that measures just north of 7,000 yards will force players to play Point A to Point B golf and limit mistakes.

Cameron Smith headlines the oddsboard as the Australian checks in as the favorite at +800. Smith rides six straight top-11 finishes into Spain including top-10 efforts at both the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship.

PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka follows Smith closely at +900. Dustin Johnson, the winner of LIV Golf Tusla, rounds out those at +1000 or below following a strong performance at the U.S. Open.

2023 LIV Andalucia Picks

Mito Pereira To Win +1600

The young Chilean looks very close to finally breaking through. Pereira missed the cut at the U.S. Open, but it was not without flashing some serious form. Valderrama requires immense skill off the tee, and that is skill Pereira has in store. He gained more than +1.50 strokes gained off the tee per round at Los Angeles Country Club and continued his ball-striking clinic of 2023.

Pereira finished T2 at LIV Golf DC to Harold Varner III and gained nearly three strokes on the field per round. Before his close call outside the nation’s capital, Pereira finished T-18 at the PGA Championship and T-43 at the Masters.

In both of those major championships, the 28-year-old gained more than four strokes on approach and showcased his rare blend of distance and accuracy off the tee. Pereira also has a pair of top-10 results from the early portion of this LIV Golf season.

Cameron Tringale To Win (+3000)

The 35-year-old has only played on LIV Golf this season which makes his strokes-gained statistics difficult to sparse through, but by all accounts, Tringale is playing some great golf. He has yet to finish outside the top 25 on LIV Golf and has a pair of top-10 finishes in his last four starts.

Tringale seriously contended en route to a fifth-place finish at LIV Golf Adelaide and continues his good play in Washington DC. Over the last three months, Tringale ranks seventh in total strokes gained among those in the field as well as fourth in driving distance and 18th in driving accuracy. This combination should serve him on a tight golf course such as Valderrama.

Kevin Na To Win (+5000)

A golf course that requires precision off the tee should be tailor-made for Na. A winner on the PGA Tour at venues such as Waialae Country Club and Colonial Country Club, Na’s skillset match the test Valderrama will pose on players. He comes into LIV Andalucia riding some strong form after a top-10 finish at LIV Golf DC.

Before his finish at Trump National DC, Na had notched a top-10 finish at LIV Golf Tucson and found his way inside the top half of the field at LIV Golf Adelaide and LIV Golf Singapore. He has gained strokes on the field in six of his last seven events, and the shorter venue that fits his eye should propel Na into the next echelon and potentially into the winner’s circle.
