Louis Oosthuizen is featured in the LIV Golf Hong Kong Odds

LIV Golf Hong Kong Odds: Will Oosthuizen Finally Cash In LIV Golf?

LIV Golf returns for its second straight week as it travels from Saudi Arabia to Hong Kong for 2024 LIV Golf Hong Kong. This is the first time in the league’s three-year existence that it will travel to Hong Kong Golf Club.

A tight golf course and one which should favor shot makers, Hong Kong Golf Club is a bit of an unknown. With that being said, it should be no issue for a player like Joaquin Niemann who has continued his torrid pace into 2024.

A winner in three of his last seven worldwide starts, Niemann claimed victory at LIV Golf Jeddah by three strokes over Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel. Niemann is listed at +700 and behind only world No. 3 Jon Rahm who checks in at the top of the oddsboard at +550.

Round out the favorites for LIV Golf Hong Kong are all the usual suspects. Bryson DeChambeauis slowly finding some form at +1200 while Brooks Koepka appears keen on trending into major championship season from +1600. Dustin Johnson, the only other winner this season besides Niemann, is at +1600 alongside Cameron Smith. Louis Oosthuizen and Talor Gooch round out those below +2000 for LIV Golf Hong Kong.

2024 LIV Golf Hong Kong Betting Picks

Louis Oosthuizen To Win (+1800): The South African has been close to claiming his first title with LIV Golf and it nearly came in Saudi Arabia.

In the mix, Oosthuizen ultimately did not make enough putts to usurp Niemann the final day at LIV Golf Jeddah. The veteran finished runner-up and continued a long streak of quality results dating back to last fall. Over his last six starts, Oosthuizen has two wins on the DP World Tour, a runner-up finish on the Asian Tour, a runner-up finish on LIV Golf and another top-10 finish to boot. Another win should be coming shortly given his play.

Sergio Garcia To Win (+2200): Garcia remains one of the best drivers of the golf ball on the planet and that skillset should come in handy around a tight golf course.

The Spaniard had a decent result at LIV Golf Jeddah where he clocked a top 15 continuing a nice run of play in individual stroke-play events. When taking out the Team Championship in Miami last year, Garcia now has three top 15s in his last four starts with a pair of podium finishes. He just lost in a four-hole playoff to Niemann in Mayakoba on another tight golf course where off-the-tee play is paramount which gives us hope another chance at victory is around the corner.

Patrick Reed To Win (+3500): The former Masters champion has been a relative non-factor on LIV Golf this season, but the signs are there.

He is starting to drive the golf ball better in both terms of distance and accuracy and should be a nice compliment to his short-game acumen. Reed lacks consistency – as he always has throughout his career – but when he is on, he tends to contend for the title. He finished last season’s LIV Golf campaign with five top-five finishes in 12 starts making me believe he will turn on the jets soon and finally walk into that winner’s circle.
