The Angels had a struggling superstar of their own this season in Anthony Rendon, who was batting a dismal .103 with only one home run and four RBI heading into this week’s action. The Angels’ prized free-agent acquisition has batted at least .301 in each of his last three seasons, so it was just a matter of time before he heated up.
