It's hard to find a more polarizing prop bet than the MLB strikeout prop.
Love it or hate it, there's money to be made betting on starting pitchers, and we've got double-barreled action for you on Tuesday.
Follow along for two MLB strikeout props for April 2:
Pick 1: Jose Berrios OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-165)

I'm anticipating the Astros winning this contest (you can see why in our Tuesday expert picks), but that doesn't mean Berrios can't find early success. Heck, even Jays starter Bowden Francis hit his strikeouts OVER on Monday despite allowing seven runs.
There are two factors at play Tuesday. First, Berrios nailed his Ks OVER in his last start, stringing together seven straight OVERs dating back to last season.
Secondly, starting pitchers facing the Astros are 4-1 on strikeout OVERs so far this season. With such a low line on Berrios, this OVER will hit in a Blue Jays win or loss.
Pick 2: Miles Mikolas OVER 3.5 Strikeouts (-135)
Cardinals vs Padres Matchup Preview - Game Time: 9:40 pm ET
A man need not be absolute in his beliefs. I can fade the Cardinals and back their starter (on a prop) at the same time. We are complicated creatures.
My gut tells me Mikolas will get shredded by the Friars. That said, like white cheddar popcorn and chardonnay, hard contact often pairs well with strikeout OVERs. The righty hit the OVER in his last start, and three of the last four starters have cashed the OVER on strikeouts vs SDP.
