Austin Slater #53 of the San Francisco Giants is congratulated by third base coach Ron Wotus #23 as he rounds the bases after he hit a pinch hit grand slam home run against Miles Mikolas #39 of the St. Louis Cardinals in the fourth inning at Oracle Park on July 06, 2019

Oddsmakers Haven’t Caught Up to Giants Offense

The San Francisco Giants have been scoring a ton of runs as they head into the all-star break. Granted, this was an anemic offensive team for most of the season, but the tide has turned over the last two weeks.

In the National League, only the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Philadelphia Phillies have scored more runs than Bruce Bochy’s club in the last 14 days, and with that, the Giants have been consistently going OVER their team total. They’ve got another fantastic chance to do that today with the line Sportsbook at 3.5 (-120).

My Best Bet for Cardinals vs Giants

Giants OVER 3.5 Team Total

Jack Flaherty has had an awful season after being one of baseball’s best bets in 2018. Combine that with the Giants’ resurgent offensive game and I’m loving this play in this game.

Alternatively, I think the full game OVER 8 (-105) is also a very reasonable bet to make. Whatever you decide, good luck!
