Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Miami Heat ATS -1.5

Miami suffered a major, debilitating blow to its postseason aspirations during its initial play-in loss against the Philadelphia 76ers. It not just lost the game, forcing a do-or-die matchup with the Bulls, but it also lost the heart and soul of the roster in Jimmy Butler who sprained his right MCL and will be out of action for the next several weeks if the Heat advance.

With a 13-9 SU record in 2023-24 when Butler is unavailable, Miami is still capable of knocking off Chicago even without one of its leading scorers and top perimeter defenders able to go. It won't be easy, of course, as the Heat only mustered up 104 total points against the Sixers and Butler accounted for 19 of them, which was the second-most on the team that evening.

The Bulls' 131-point blowout of the Hawks was helped immensely by Atlanta's flat-out inability to defend anyone. While Chicago averaged the third-most points across the Association over its last four outings, much of that was attributed to playing some of the worst squads in the league or teams mailing it in with their seeding all but decided.

Tyler Herro will need to improve upon his lackluster 9-of-27 box score from Wednesday, and Bam Adebayo will need to establish himself more offensively to compensate for Butler's injury, but even so, there's enough there with what's left of the Heat to book a ticket to Beantown for a rematch with the Boston Celtics.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Coby White OVER 20.5 Points

Coby White's career-best 42-point outburst against Atlanta may have been an anomaly. Again, being matched up with Trae Young goes a long way toward monster-scoring finishes when little resistance is facing you.

But maybe it wasn't. White scored 20 or more points in three of his final four appearances, and he did finish with seven games of 30 or more points on the season after reaching that mark seven total times over his prior four seasons combined.

As one of the two favorites to win Most Improved Player, White's progress and ascension shouldn't surprise anyone. Even if he doesn't come close to the 42 points he registered a few days ago, he needs just half of that to hit the OVER versus Miami, who he averaged 20.5 points against across four games and notched 21 or more points twice.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: DeMar DeRozan 1+ Made 3-Pointer

Connecting on one 3-pointer is usually a slam dunk for most wings, but in the case of DeMar DeRozan, who is known for his mid-range game and ability to attack the basket, it's no guarantee he'll do so at the Kaseya Center.

DeRozan played a team-high 44 minutes against Atlanta, but only took two shots from behind the arc of his 19 total attempts, converting one at a 50 percent clip. He made at least one in each of his last three games ahead of the play-in tournament, mind you, but DeRozan also went the three games prior without making one at all.

The playing time will be there in large doses for the 34-year-old veteran, improving his odds of hitting this prop. It may come down to the wire, but DeRozan should provide bettors some glorious returns, even if this prop isn't exactly the tallest of tasks.
