NBA Daily Fantasy Picks For Feb. 7: Wembanyama Continues To Be Bulletproof

NBA daily fantasy perfectly blends the worlds of fantasy sports and sports betting into one fun and exhilarating contest that can lead to big gains for those who partake.

The DFS lineup will incorporate a standard starting lineup of a PG, SG, SF, PF, and C, along with an additional G, F, and UTIL slot at a salary of $50,000 which cannot be exceeded. Points are allocated based on the statistical production from each individual player that night.

Here's a look at our lineup for the NBA's slate of games on Wednesday, February 7, 2024:

NBA DFS Lineup For February 7, 2024

  1. PG: Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

    $9,500

  2. SG: Kelly Oubre Jr, Philadelphia 76ers

    $6,300

  3. SF: Brandon Miller, Charlotte Hornets

    $7,200

  4. PF: Ausar Thompson, Detroit Pistons

    $4,400

  5. C: P.J. Washington, Charlotte Hornets

  7. F: Jaime Jaquez Jr, Miami Heat

    $4,600

  8. UTIL: Victor wembanyama, San Antonio Spurs

    $8,800

PG: Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Only one player in the NBA (Luka Doncic) is averaging more points per game than Stephen Curry over the last seven games. The Chef is cooking to the tune of 35.7 points during that stretch, with his fantasy contributions topping a staggering 60 points on three of those occasions.

SG: Kelly Oubre Jr, Philadelphia 76ers

A meniscus injury to Joel Embiid's left knee has vaulted Kelly Oubre Jr. back into relevancy, as the Philadelphia 76ers need every last bucket to compensate for the cataclysmic hole created by the 7-footer's absence. Oubre Jr. is averaging 19.3 points over his last six appearances in 33.7 minutes.

SF: Brandon Miller, Charlotte Hornets

It's taken a hot minute, but rookie Brandon Miller is finally making some noise with the Charlotte Hornets after being drafted second overall in the 2023 draft. He's scored over 30 points in each of his last two games, and is averaging 26.3 points across his last six while shooting a respectable 38.9 percent from deep.

PF: Ausar Thompson, Detroit Pistons

Opportunity breeds production, and Ausar Thompson needs to continue receiving more of it to truly make an impact. The Detroit Pistons rookie gets most of his numbers on the defensive end with steals and blocks. His 34.75 fantasy points on Feb. 4 were his most in over two weeks.

C: P.J. Washington, Charlotte Hornets

As a big man, P.J. Washington can give fantasy players a healthy dose of 3-pointers with some steals sprinkled in, but not much in the blocks department. It's basically a three-man show in Charlotte these days with Miller, Washington, and Miles Bridges as long as LaMelo Ball is out, so capitalize on that and bank on Washington to keep up his current pace.

G: Jaden Springer, Philadelphia 76ers

This pick was a necessity with most of the funds falling on bigger names who can be counted on for massive fantasy contributions. Springer is only averaging 11.9 minutes on the season, but his playing time has risen with the Embiid injury, resulting in at least 23 fantasy points in three of his last four games.

F: Jaime Jaquez Jr, Miami Heat

The 22-year-old's usage has taken a big hit with the Miami Heat getting much of its core depth back healthy, so noticeable outbursts offensively will be fewer and farther between. If Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs gets away from the visiting side early, there should be more chances for Jaime Jaquez Jr. to build on a 28-point fantasy day he had against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.

UTIL: Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio Spurs

Drafting Victor Wembanyama requires little thought. Only three other players with power forward eligibility have more fantasy points this season than the No. 1 overall pick. He's a safe bet for at least 50 points these days, and that can be the difference between gains and losses.
