Cleveland Cavaliers Vs. Philadelphia 76ers
The Game: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Cleveland Cavaliers | -3.5 (-110) | -156 | O 228 (-110) |
Philadelphia 76ers | +3.5 (-110) | +132 | U 228 (-110) |
Pick: Cleveland Cavaliers ML
A grand total of five points separated the Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers in their two prior matchups this season, one of which required an overtime period to determine a victor.
Donovan Mitchell is questionable for Friday's tilt after sitting Thursday with an undisclosed illness. His presence would certainly improve Cleveland's chances on the road, although he dropped 36 points against Philadelphia right before the All-Star break and the Cavaliers still fell by a bucket.
Cleveland is favored this time around despite Mitchell's status being in limbo as both teams play on the second night of a back-to-back slate. It hasn't dropped consecutive games since Dec. 29-Jan. 1, and with the added incentive of having just lost to Philly on Feb. 12, the Cavaliers will rebound here and snag the win in what should be yet another tightly-contested game.
Miami Heat vs. New Orleans Pelicans
The Game: Miami Heat vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 8 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Miami Heat | +3.5 (-112) | +132 | O 220 (-110) |
New Orleans Pelicans | -3.5 (-108) | -156 | U 220 (-110) |
Pick: Miami Heat ATS
The visitors from South Beach have had the New Orleans Pelicans' number for quite a while now, riding a six-game winning streak which dates back to the 2020-21 campaign.
New Orleans is also coming off a 127-105 win over the Houston Rockets on Thursday, while this game marks the Miami Heat's first since the break. Jimmy Butler is also expected to play after missing time for personal reasons, as well.
Miami has successfully covered the spread in five-straight games, and factoring in its recent success against the Pelicans, along with a fun tidbit that New Orleans hasn't covered in its last seven attempts on a Friday, the Heat can confidently be backed to be an ATS beast once more.
Toronto Raptors Vs. Atlanta Hawks
The Game: Toronto Raptors vs. Atlanta Hawks, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Toronto Raptors | +7 (-110) | +235 | O 245 (-108) |
Atlanta Hawks | -7 (-110) | -290 | U 245 (-112) |
Pick: OVER 245 Total Points
The Toronto Raptors and Atlanta Hawks produce barnburners whenever they square off, and Friday should be no exception.
The OVER/UNDER of 245 points has been exceeded in two of their three meetings, with the most recent game on Jan. 28 hitting 251 total points in a 126-125 win for the Hawks at State Farm Arena.
The total has hit OVER in 11 of Atlanta's last 16 games against the Raptors, and while Toronto has gone UNDER in four of its last five outings, a victory last night against the Brooklyn Nets paired with the Hawks' welcoming defense should end that cold streak.
