After a quick browse through the NBA slate tonight, here are the best prop bets we've found.
Collin Sexton OVER 21.5 Points (-104)
Sexton has come on lately, but he's only hit the OVER on this total in 34% of games this year. That's bad. However, Sexton has cashed the OVER in nine of his last 15 contests, including four straight.
The kicker here is that New Orleans' defense is poor at defending the point guard position, ranking 22nd in the NBA in points allowed to one-guards. That lines us up for another sneaky OVER.
Josh Giddey OVER 4.5 Assists (+116)
Giddey has hit this OVER in just 41% of contests, and that's not been better over his last 10 either (40%). We must squint to make this prop work, but it's worth the effort.
Giddey is a dime machine in his career vs Portland. The Aussie is averaging 8.5 APG in five career games vs the Blazers. He's cashed the OVER 4.5 in all five contests, including a 12-assist showing on Jan. 11.
Kawhi Leonard OVER 1.5 Threes Made (-186)
Let's mix some chalk into our props this week.
"The Claw" has been a machine from deep this year, cashing the OVER 1.5 in 78% of games played. He's been especially sharp lately, too, drilling at least two threes in 13 of his last 15 games.
The Lakers are 19th in the NBA at defending threes, which helps this bet, too.
