With All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell expected to suit up against Phoenix after sitting out on Tuesday against the Utah Jazz, it's a tad surprising to see Cleveland listed as the 5.5-point underdogs even being on the road on the second night of a back-to-back slate.
Playing in the Cavaliers' favor is that they have a winning record both SU (8-6) and ATS (10-4) this season when entering a game as an underdog of five points or more. Phoenix, on the other hand, covers the spread as at least five-point favorites at home just 40 percent of the time in 2023-24.
With an expected full arsenal at its disposal, not only will Cleveland cover what's a pretty forgiving spread, but an upset SU with a +194 moneyline isn't out of the question either.
