Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Los Angeles Lakers ATS -1
Working in the Lakers' favor is that the Thunder exerted quite a bit of energy on Sunday to hold off the Phoenix Suns on the road, with MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander needing to play 38 minutes in the victory. Oklahoma City is 7-3 on no rest this season, mind you, but a number of those wins came against weaker competition.
Los Angeles has only dropped consecutive games once since Jan. 15, which just so happens to be the date they last defeated the Thunder with a 112-105 win. They're 2-1 against Oklahoma City this season, having taken the last two matchups.
The Thunder are on cruise control heading into the postseason, while every game means much more to a Lakers team just trying to claw its way out of the play-in tournament. Look for Los Angeles to take this one after dropping the ball against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Anthony Davis OVER 26.5 Points
Anthony Davis perhaps heard some of the chatter stemming from a humdrum, yet respectable 17-point, 11-rebound showing against the reigning champions, albeit in a 10-point loss.
While not terrible, it wasn't the type of performance one would expect from the All-Star big man with the eyes of the basketball world watching as teammate LeBron James eclipsed 40,000 career points. Bouncing back against the Thunder would be welcome, as Davis is averaging 28 points against them this season on 55.4 percent shooting.
He surpassed the 26.5-point total set for Monday in two of those games, and since Oklahoma City hasn't shown an ability to contain him, beating that total for a third time should be in the cards here.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Lu Dortz OVER 1.5 Made 3-Pointers
The often overlooked piece of the Thunder's stacked starting lineup, and predominantly known for his defensive intangibles, Luguentz Dortz can strike hard and often from 3-point range when unaccounted for.
The 24-year-old Montreal native is converting a career-best 39.6 percent of his 3-point attempts this season, up from 33 percent a year ago. Dortz has also nailed at least two 3-pointers in each of his three appearances against the Lakers at a 36.8 percent clip.
Los Angeles gives up the third-most made 3-pointers to opponents in 2023-24 at 14.1 per game, which bodes well for Dortz' chances to continue lighting them up from behind the arc.
