    Tampa Bay couldn’t get much going on Sunday but did manage to cover the spread as huge 13.5-point underdogs in a 27-14 road loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Baker Mayfield went 29-for-45 with 246 passing yards, one passing touchdown and one interception. The Buccaneers fell to 1-5 SU in their last six games with the loss but improved to 4-0 ATS in their last four games with the cover.

    Since opening the season with a 3-1 SU and ATS record, the Buccaneers have only won one game outright in a 20-6 victory at home against the Tennessee Titans earlier this month. The Buccaneer are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games.

    Latest Betting Notes: Colts

    Indianapolis leaned on its defense to secure a 10-6 win in Germany against the New England Patriots as 1.5-point favorites on November 12 prior to the team’s bye week last weekend. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 69 yards on 23 carries and scored the game’s only touchdown in the first quarter. Gardner Minshew went 18-for-28 with 194 passing yards and an interception.

    The Colts are now 2-0 SU and ATS over their last two games since going 0-3 SU and 1-2 ATS in their previous three games. Minshew has filled in admirably for injured starting quarterback Anthony Richardson with 1,721 passing yards, eight passing touchdowns and six interceptions this season.

    The Keys to Victory: Buccaneers

    The Buccaneers rank sixth best in the NFL in rushing defense this season allowing only 90 rushing yards per game. If Tampa Bay’s defense can contain Jonathan Taylor and force the Colts out of their comfort zone on offense, that could create a positive game script for the road team.

    But in order to win, Tampa Bay will need to produce on offense. The Buccaneers are 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS in the five games they have scored 20 points or more in and 0-5 SU with a 2-3 ATS record in the five games they have failed to do so in. Tampa Bay backers will be hoping for a big game from Baker Mayfield and this Buccaneers offense.

    The Keys to Victory: Colts

    While the Buccaneers have performed well against the run on defense this season, they’ve been terrible against the pass. Tampa Bay ranks 31st in the NFL in passing defense allowing 270.7 passing yards per game in 2023. If Tampa Bay’s rushing defense continues to play well, the pressure will be on Gardner Minshew to drive the offense on Sunday.

    Indianapolis is at its best when its defense is playing well. The Colts are 5-0 SU and ATS in the five games they’ve allowed 20 points or fewer in and 0-5 SU and 1-4 ATS in the five games they’ve allowed more than that in. This defense has had a bye week to prepare for Tampa Bay, and how well the unit plays will make or break this game.
